I've never been one to follow a script -- or stay inside a "box." Growing up, I watched as women were given limited career options, shaping a false narrative of what was possible. But I chose a different path.

I was raised in my mother's retail business, where I learned the fundamentals of entrepreneurship first-hand. Then, like many women of my generation, I took a "safe route" and became a secretary. But, that wasn't my final destination -- it was just the beginning.
